Dortmund Chief 'hopes' Bellingham Won't Leave Next Summer Amid Liverpool's Interest

Whether Liverpool sign a midfielder this summer or not, it has been well established that Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham is their primary target for the next summer.

It's been presumed that Dortmund will be prepared to sell the Englishman in 2023. However, some comments made by their sporting director Sebastian Kehl may contradict that theory.

“I hope that Jude Bellingham will stay at BVB beyond 2023. I can see he feels super comfortable with us”, Kehl told the press, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

Liverpool are not the only club interested in Bellingham's services: Real Madrid are also preparing a move for him. In any case, the situation will only come to a head at the end of the current campaign.
