De Jong's agents pushing player to accept Barca exit but on one condition

According to the reliable Albert Roge and Toni Juanmarti from Relevo (5 stars), there is currently a conflict between Frenkie de Jong and his agents.

The midfielder's representatives are trying to convince the player to leave Barcelona but only if he negotiates his deferred salary before.

Last season, Frenkie was paid €4m gross which constitutes just 35% of his salary. He is now owed €19m in deferred wages by the club.

The parties don't have a signed agreement saying that Barca would have to pay him the €19m all at once in case of an exit, though.

The parties could solve the situation by agreeing to a percentage of the deferred wages that Frenkie would be paid before he is sold.

However, De Jong still insists on continuing at Camp Nou, especially considering that he would likely lose a certain amount of money in case of an exit.

Meanwhile, Manchester United and Chelsea are said to be interested in the midfielder. The Catalans want to offload the player as it would mean getting rid of his high wages.
