Chelsea preparing new proposal for Wesley Fofana, Leicester insist defender not for sale

Chelsea are preparing a new proposal for Wesley Fofana in the next few days, according to Fabrizio Romano.

However, Leicester City are adamant that the centre-back is not for sale after turning down a £70 million offer from Stamford Bridge.

The Blues, however, will now push again as manager Thomas Tuchel is looking to bolster his defensive options after missing out on Sevilla's Jules Kounde.

Fofana himself appears to be open to the idea of joining Chelsea with the 21-year-old previously speaking about his desire to compete for silverware at the highest level.
