Chelsea are trying to pull off a player-plus-cash deal once again as they step up their pursuit of Brighton's left-sided defender Marc Cucurella.
The Blues are offering Levi Colwill as part of the deal for the Spaniard, with Brighton previously linked with the Chelsea academy graduate.
According to the Evening Standard's Nizaar Kinsella, Colwill is valued at around £20m. As for Cucurella, Brighton demand at least £50m for their Player of the Season.
That's where Man City's pursuit of Cucurella failed as they refused to meet Brighton's valuation.
The 26-year-old could perform both as a wing-back and as a left-sided centre-back in a back three.
