Busquets agrees pay cut to help Barca register players
Sergio Busquets have agreed to yet another pay cut to help Barcelona register new players. according to a reliable report by Ferran Martinez.
The veteran midfielder is Barca's second-highest earner bagging €10.5m per season. However, the Spaniard will now earn a percentage less of that sum. There's a meeting scheduled between Barca and the player later on Tuesday.
Earlier, it was reported that Gerard Pique had also agreed to a salary slash to help the club. This is not the first time the two Barca captains will take a pay cut to help the club.
Barcelona are also hoping that players like Frenkie de Jong and Ter Stergen accept pay cuts. So far, that doesn't seem like happening.
