Barcelona are in advanced talks with Martin Braithwaite to terminate his contract, Gerard Romero (5 stars) reports. Initially, though, Braithwaite reportedly wanted to get €5m from the club.
Getting rid of the Danish striker would help the club write off around €3m from the wage bill.
Barca have been trying to part ways with Braithwaite for the whole summer. However, the 31-year-old has been refusing any offers as he wanted compensation from the club. Now, he will be leaving as a free agent.
