Arsenal star Albert Sambi Lokonga is wanted in Italy by Jose Mourinho.
The Roma coach, who lost loan signing Gini Winjaldum to a serious leg injury, is on the market for another midfielder.
According to ASRomaLive, the 22-year-old Lokonga is emerging as an option for Mourinho in recent days.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta does not see Lokonga as a first-choice player, but he is a serious piece within their rotation.
He has come off the bench twice for a combined three minutes in their first three Premier League games of the season.
Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka are first-choice, while Arsenal may still bring in Youri Tielemans from Leicester City.
