Antonio Conte continues Tottenham clear-out as Giovani Lo Celso rejoins Villarreal on loan
Giovani Lo Celso has completed his loan move to Villarreal.
The midfielder flew to Spain on Friday night ahead of joining the club on a season-long loan.
There is no option to buy in the deal and the 26-year-old can be recalled by Tottenham in January.
Lo Celso returns to Villarreal after spending the second half of last season with Unai Emery's side.
He scored one goal in 22 appearances, but seemed more settled after struggling to find his feet in North London.
He's scored six goals in 64 games for Tottenham, but has struggled to live up to his £27.2million price tag.
The Argentine was one of a number of players Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has been trying to offload, along with Sergio Reguilon, Tanguy Ndombele, and Harry Winks.
Ndombele, who cost Tottenham £53.8million, has travelled to Italy ahead of a loan move to Napoli.
The French midfielder had been excluded from Antonio Conte's training sessions as the club searched to resolve his transfer situation, with the midfielder spending January onwards on loan at former club Lyon last season.
He is now set to leave Spurs for good, with the deal including an option to buy.
