Ancelotti: Tchouameni Proving Himself To Be Spectacular

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was delighted with Aurelien Tchouameni's performance for victory at Espanyol.

Ancelotti says the French youngster will continue to improve as the players get used to him.

He said, "We were always superior, they were dangerous from set pieces and they scored a goal for us due to bad luck. They gained more confidence, they went for the game and luckily we found the 1-2 to put us ahead.

"We're not surprised (by Tchouameni), he's a spectacular player, it was difficult at first, but you can tell he feels very good and in training you can see that.

"He plays well in defence and attack. I'm happy with him and I hope he continues to improve.

"The rotation of the midfielders was planned with (Luka) Modric and (Fede) Valverde who were a little behind and Tchouameni was going up."
