Ronaldo's wages slashed by 25% after missing out on Champions League, contributed to his 'desire to leave' United

According to Samuel Luckhurst, Man United players had their salaries automatically reduced by 25 per cent after the team failed to qualify for the Champions League.

The pay cut has 'upset' Cristiano Ronaldo and played a role in his 'desire to leave the club'. He earns £360,000 per week now. He used to make £480,000 per week last season.

Additionally, the lack of activity in the transfer market has contributed to the Portuguese's push for a summer exit.
