Romano names 3 centre-backs on Chelsea's new shortlist, Wesley Fofana one of them
In his latest video on YouTube, Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Chelsea's continuing attempts to strengthen their defensive line.
After missing out on Jules Kounde, the Blues have drawn up a new shortlist which includes Wesley Fofana, Milan Skriniar and Benjamin Pavard.
Fofana has been discussed internally, but no talks have been opened over the 21-year-old who might be worth up to £85m if Leicester should agree to sell him.
Skriniar has been linked with the Blues for a while, but PSG are also keen on the 27-year-old - while Inter have reportedly started talks over a new deal with him.
Finally, Bayern are prepared to put Pavard on the market after signing Matthijs de Ligt. Chelsea have not approached the club over the Frenchman yet.
Thomas Tuchel has made it clear that while he's happy with the Kalidou Koulibaly signing, it's not enough if Chelsea want to compete in the Premier League.
