Romano confirms Galtier to replace Pochettino in charge of PSG

Fabrizio Romano reports that PSG will announce the appointment of Christophe Galtier as head coach on Wednesday, 2pm local time.

The former Nice tactician will replace Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentine has not been officially sacked yet but it's been reported that he has agreed to terminate his contract for a €10m compensation.

Galtier's biggest achievement is winning the Ligue 1 trophy with Lille in the 2020/21 season. He broke a three-year PSG dominance to claim the title with Lille.

He then left Les Dogues and joined OGC Nice, taking them to a fifth-place finish in his first and only season in charge. He departed from the French Riviera side in late June in order to join PSG.
