Richarlison to receive one-match ban for throwing firework into stands in Everton-Chelsea match last season
Richarlison is going to have his Tottenham Hotspur debut delayed as he is going to be struck with a one-match ban from the Football Association (FA).
This comes after the FA investigated the case of the Brazilian forward throwing a flare into the stands during Everton’s 1-0 win over Chelsea in the Premier League last season.
They believe they risked bodily harm for fans with his act and will punish him with a one-game ban.
He has also been fined £25,000 as part of the punishment as well.
This means Richarlison can’t make his debut for Spurs in their opening match of the 2022/23 Premier League season against Southampton.
