Rangers agree deal for Ben Davies, Liverpool to double their money
Rangers have agreed a ₤4million deal for Liverpool centre-back Ben Davies. This has been confirmed by Paul Joyce and Neil Jones.
The 26-year-old is scheduled to undergo a medical for the Scottish side in the next few days while the clubs are finalising the agreement.
Liverpool signed Davies on February 1, 2021, for just £1.5million. That means the Reds more than doubled their investment on a player who never made a senior appearance for them.
The 26-year-old spent the last season out on loan at Sheffield United, making 22 appearances in the Championship.
