Napoli 'close' to agreeing on loan deal for Kepa, Chelsea will pay 75% of keeper's salary
As per the reliable reporter Di Marzio, whose claim has been backed up by Fabrizio Romano, Napoli are 'close' to agreeing on a loan deal to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The keeper wants to move away for regular playing time and he is Napoli's top target at that position.
The 'contacts between the parties are alive', Di Marzio adds. There's an agreement in place for the wages.
Chelsea are expected to cover almost 75% of the keeper's salary. Kepa is reportedly earning £155,000 per week, so Chelsea will still pay him around £116,000 per week to him if the loan goes through.
The deal will be finalised once the bonuses part is agreed. Chelsea want a bonus of £1.25m for the loan and the clubs are discussing the final fee.
