Mohamed Salah backed to emulate Ronaldo, Lewandowski and Benzema in his 30s
During a discussion about the most lethal strikers in the Premier League, Liverpool's Mohamed Salah received some incredible compliments from those at the panel.
WhoScored recently conducted a session where experts spoke about strikers and their ability to keep going in their 30s.
Speaking for the Premier League Panel, Raj Chohan explained: "He’s [Salah] obviously a phenomenal goalscorer, he’s showed that throughout his time but I think we’ve seen an upwards trajectory in other parts of his game.
"For example, last season he was the top assist maker in the Premier League, he’s gone up a level in terms of his creative ability.
"He’s adding new facets to his game and he’s definitely on that upwards trajectory."
Chohan continued: "I think with Salah, there’s something about his physical shape and his mentality which is why I think he’s in that [Karim] Benzema, [Robert] Lewandowski and Cristiano Ronaldo kind of mould where he will keep on going into his mid-thirties at a top-level.
"There’s that hunger about him, he always talks about individual records and also team trophies, I think he’s got that in him to carry on."
Salah, who recently turned 30, has scored 155 goals and provided 61 assists in 248 appearances for Liverpool so far.
