Mo Salah reportedly becomes highest-paid Premier League player with new Liverpool contract
Liverpool forward Mo Salah has become the highest-paid player in the Premier League after signing a new 3-year contract with the club.
According to the Daily Mail, the Egyptian winger is set to pocket around £400,000-a-week wages with his new deal.
That would eclipse that of Man United forward Cristiano Ronaldo (£385,000) and Man City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne (£385,000), who were the joint-highest paid players.
City’s newest star Erling Haaland is reportedly set to pocket around £375,000-a-week wages.
Salah received a major salary hike with his new deal after settling his future at Anfield.
