Militao breaks up with his girlfriend, the couple were expecting first child

Eder Militao and Karoline Lima are no longer together Karoline has confirmed it via Instagram.

"I'm passing by to reassure you and say that everything is fine, that I'm strong as hell, that Cecília [the couple's future child] is even stronger.

"After Eder came back from his trip, I looked for him, tried to sort things out, get it right and continue. But it got to a point where I saw that it's not going to work out as a love relationship. I decided to end it and I believe it was the best decision at the moment.

"We will always have a link between us, which is Cecilia, who will always be a priority in our lives. That's what matters, we need to be good for her. I'm fine and I'm going to get better and better," she concluded.

In June, Karoline told her followers that Militao was hanging out 'in the best clubs of Miami'. After that, however, the player travelled to Brazil to spend a few days with his family and friends.

The couple were together for a year and a month. Cecilia is going to be born in the coming weeks.
