Liverpool have been so impressed by Diogo Jota's performance in the last two seasons that they have 'raised the prospect' of a new improved deal for the forward, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Jota currently sits at ₤90,000 per week, significantly lower than his impact at Liverpool suggests. He has scored 34 goals across all competitions since joining the club in 2020.
The 25-year-old was the player who effectively broke up the Reds' iconic front three, relegating Roberto Firmino to a bench role.
This year, he's likely to compete with Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz for his place in the line-up.
