Lineups, goalscorers and more as Real Madrid play intersquad training match
On Friday, Real Madrid once again played a training match among themselves. Here's what we know about the game, as per Mario Cortegana.
Team A: Courtois (switching with Lunin) - Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Mendy - Casemiro, Modric, Kroos - Valverde, Benzema, Vinicius.
Team B: Canizares (switching with Lopez) - Lucas Vazquez, Rudiger, Nacho, Vallejo - Tchouameni, Camavinga, Ceballos - Asensio, Hazard, Rodrygo.
Tobias, Odriozola, Mayoral, Latasa and Mariano remained on the bench.
At the moment of the report, the score was 2-0 for team A, with Vinicius and Valverde scoring the goals. The final score is unknown.
Cortegana also reports that team A will be the ones starting against Juventus on Saturday and against Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Super Cup on August 10.
This means that, at least for now, Carlo Ancelotti doesn't see newcomers Tchouameni and Rudiger as starters. He also prefers Valverde over Rodrygo on the right wing.
