Klopp says his family couldn't get into stadium to support him in CL final
Talking about the ticketing saga during the Champions League final, Jurgen Klopp said: “I met only a few who were lucky; all the rest I met – my family included – had massive struggles outside.
“I think it is clear it was massively disorganised. Whoever was responsible was not prepared for that.
“My family sent me messages before the game, ‘We are in the stadium, good luck’ and all these kinds of things – but they were not. These kinds of necessary lies you receive then after the game.”
Klopp would probably have been left worried if his family had told him they couldn't get into the stadium. That would in turn have caused the gaffer to lose a bit of focus ahead of the big match.
Liverpool performed well in the final, but the host of missed chances eventually cost the Reds the title.
