Juventuus wants an eye-watering '€90 million' for Matthijs de Ligt

Chelsea target Matthijs de Ligt could cost any new club that gets him an eye-watering €90 million, according to Italian source Tutto Mercato (4 stars).

The Blues are desperate for a new centre-back following the exit of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.

However, the price being quoted for De Ligt is outrageous to say the least and it remains to be seen if Chelsea can fork out such a huge fee. Also, the player is more seduced by Bayern Munich, as per latest reports.

Goal says Chelsea's offer for the Dutchman is nowhere near Juve's valuation.

Another option being considered by the Blues is Jules Kounde - although that's also complicated as the Frenchman reportedly wants to play for Barca.
