'Is he staying?': Ronaldo's sister gives cryptic response when asked about the striker's future at Man United

Cristiano Ronaldo's future continues to be a hotly-debated topic among fans.

The 37-year-old has not reported for pre-season training for 'family reasons' as he hopes to leave Manchester United despite having a year to go on his contract.

And his sister Katia Aveiro appears to think there is little chance he will stay at United.

As reported by the Manchester Evening News, a fan posted the following comment on one of Katia's Instagram pictures: "Cristiano will stay [in] Manchester?"

To which, she replied (as per Google translate): "I suggest some glasses... a span of brain or else learn to read haaa and notion."

While some part of the message is lost in translation, one can still make out what his sister is trying to say.

Ronaldo is reportedly upset about having to undergo a wage cut like the rest of the United squad. Not being able to play in the Champions League has also contributed to his sudden u-turn on staying.
