'I can't wait to see what happens': Mount excited for Chelsea's 'new era'

Mason Mount arrived back in London yesterday and will join team training with Chelsea soon.

He sat down with Evening Standard to speak about the new season under Todd Boehly and Mount was pretty optimistic of things to come.

"It is a new era, so we all feel very excited and, whenever a new season comes around, you are excited about what’s possible. can’t wait to see what happens."

He added: "We’ve had a break now but we’ll see and we hope it is going to be a good year. I am feeling rested and ready to go."

Mount and the rest of the team are set to begin pre-season on Saturday, when Chelsea fly to Los Angeles for their friendlies.
