Higuain calls 2021/22 Champions League 'the most bizarre' – it has to do with Real Madrid
"Of all the Champions League campaigns I've seen, this one [2021/22] was the most bizarre. Every game had a remontada [comeback].
Within half an hour, they [Real Madrid] came back. This is Real Madrid's DNA. It was one of the most exciting campaigns," Gonzalo Higuain has told CatRadio, per Marca.
Real Madrid completes three comebacks on their way to the final – against PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City.
It is nice to know Higuain still watches Real Madrid 9 years after leaving the club.
The Argentine striker made 264 appearances for the Whites, scoring 121 goals and providing 56 assists.
