Thomas Tuchel has taken the decision to send Billy Gilmour, Harvey Vale and Tino Anjorin to the Chelsea Under-23s pre-season camp.
The youngsters were not getting any minutes of playing time with the senior team and the manager thought it was better to let them join the youth team and keep the senior squad to 24 players at the moment.
As per the reliable Nizaar Kinsella, this treatment of the youngsters is 'quite revealing about their future'.
In his report for the Evening Standard, Kinsella claims that Gilmour could be set for a permanent move away from Chelsea this summer.
The midfielder had a strong start to life with the Blues in the 2019/20 season and then made a few appearances the next campaign but it doesn't look like Tuchel has him in his plans for the future.
Similarly, Vale and Anjorin are not in the manager's plans at the moment. They could be sent out on loans to Championship clubs, with talks being held at the moment for their moves.
