Following in big brother's footsteps: Jesus Diaz signs for Porto aged 18
Luis Diaz is only starting his football career at the elite level - but we may already get a new version of this model pretty soon.
Porto have announced the signing of Jesus Diaz from Barranquilla. The 18-year-old winger makes the move that his older brother did just three years ago.
The teenager is described as a skilful player who is extremely responsible defensibly - especially for his age. His end product could be better, though.
In 24 games for Barranquilla, Jesus Diaz scored just once and provided three assists. Still, it's better than the numbers his elder brother posted in his first season in the Colombian top tier - one goal and no assists in 23 games.
Unlike the Liverpool star, however, Jesus Diaz prefers to play on the right which, in theory, should allow him to play in the same team as Luis.
Of course, he has a long way to go if he wants to join Luis Diaz at Liverpool or move to another top club. Still, the Reds could do much worse than keep an eye on him - especially now that he's in Portugal, too.
