FIFA plan to install cameras in all dressing room during World Cup in Qatar

FIFA is pondering the prospect of installing cameras into the dressing rooms of stadiums for the Qatar World Cup, claims RMC Sport.

The images or video footage from the cameras might be broadcasted live or at a slightly delayed intervals during matches.

This is being inspired by how it’s used by the world of rugby, as fans can get a look at the managers’ team talks in the dressing room or just the players interacting with each other.

A source told RMC Sport; “It's a project that is on the right track, but not yet fully implemented. It will be very framed if it is implemented in November.”

While this could make the World Cup an immersive experience for TV-watching fans, it could face backlash from players and coaches not wanting themselves to be recorded during key moments.
