FIFA and Qatar work to create new beer policy for fans at World Cup

According to Bloomberg News, FIFA officials are in talks with Qatari authorities to figure out a plan to allow football fans to consume beer in some capacity during the World Cup later this year.

Earlier, fans were shocked to learn that beer is set to be banned from stadiums during live games.

Now, there are talks to allow alcoholic beer to be served in stadium compounds before and after games.

And during games, fans could be permitted to take non-alcoholic beer, most possibly Budweiser Zero, to their seats inside.

The plan is yet to officially take shape but for beer-lovers, this surely comes as good news.
