Fabrizio Romano confirms Matthijs de Ligt's transfer to Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich have reached a verbal agreement with Juventus over the transfer of Matthijs de Ligt, confirms Fabrizio Romano.

The two clubs have finally struck a deal after being in negotiations all day long, with Bayern agreeing to pay over €80m for the centre-back.

De Ligt has already agreed personal terms with the Bundesliga giants and will sign a five-year contract with them.

The deal should be made official soon as the Dutchman will join up with Julian Nagelsmann squad for their pre-season campaign.

Bayern have had an impressive summer transfer window so far, signing Sadio Mane as well as ex-Ajax duo Ryan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui.
