Explained how Mo Salah can earn £400,000-a-week with new contract

Mo Salah has become one of the highest-paid players in the Premier League after signing a new three-year contract with Liverpool.

The Egyptian forward’s base salary is around £350,000-a-week that he is guaranteed to receive.

But, certain performance-related bonuses can increase that to £400,000-a-week if Salah is able to activate them, as per The Athletic.

Those add-ons are linked to goals and assist targets, meaning Salah could potentially earn much more if able to maintain a consistent goal contribution rate.

Salah has become Liverpool’s highest-paid player with the new deal, but there is no animosity among his teammates for that.
