De Jong's agent ignoring Barca as club set ultimatum

According to Relevo, Frenkie de Jong's agent Ali Dursun has been avoiding Barcelona in the last few days and this is making the club unhappy.

The Catalans want to set a meeting to discuss Frenkie's future. They will offer the player to choose between leaving for Manchester United or significantly lowering his wages and continuing at the club.

As per recent reports, De Jong's salary will rise substantially this summer, making him the best-paid player at the club. However, it is unlikely that he will agree to a pay cut.

Meanwhile, Barca and Man United are close to reaching a full agreement over the midfielder. However, the Red Devils are yet to open direct talks with Frenkie.
