Cristiano Ronaldo to skip start of Man United's pre-season tour as he pushes for exit
Cristiano Ronaldo won't be a part of the Man United squad that travels to Bangkok for the start of the pre-season tour on Friday.
According to multiple sources, Man United have given Ronaldo extra time off to deal with the 'family issue' that ruled him out of joining up with the squad earlier this week.
It's not clear whether Ronaldo will be able to join United in Australia where they'll head after Thailand.
This comes amid intense speculation about Ronaldo's future as the veteran has reportedly told the club that he wants to leave Old Trafford this summer.
Instead of starting the pre-season with his club, the 37-year-old has spent the last few days at Portugal's training base.
