Chelsea tracking Maxwel Cornet in case they miss out on other targets: The Athletic

According to The Athletic, Chelsea are tracking Maxwel Cornet of Burnley and may move for the attacker this summer.

The condition for the club to go after the Ivorian is if they are unable to acquire their current targets.

Since Burnley have been relegated, Cornet's £17.5 million relegation clause has been activated, making him a considerably low risk target.

He netted 9 times in the last Premier League season and his positional versatility could be one of the key factors in Tuchel's interest in him.
