Barcelona submits first bid for Cesar Azpilicueta

Barcelona have submitted a bid worth €3m to Chelsea for the transfer of Cesar Azpilicueta, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Chelsea are not considering the possibility of letting their captain leave just yet until a suitable replacement is found.

The Blues are close to signing Presnel Kimpembe from PSG - when that happens, Azpilicueta could leave for Barca.

If the Blaugrana get the veteran fullback, they may not sign a left-back this summer, as Azpilicueta can play at left-back comfortably.
