Alexia Putellas reaches impressive milestone after latest Spain game

Following the friendly match against Italy, Barcelona Femeni's captain Alexia Putellas has become the first-ever player to reach 100 games for the Spanish Women's team.

She is followed by the former Barcelona player Jennifer Hermoso who has 91 caps. Alexia is also the 6th best scorer in their history with 27 goals, that is despite her playing as a midfielder.

With Putellas being only 28 years old, she is likely to bag many more national team call-ups in the future.
