5 teams who can sign Cristiano Ronaldo if he leaves Man United this summer

Cristiano Ronaldo has told Manchester United that he would like to leave the club this summer and has failed to report for pre-season training, citing family reasons.

We're taking a look at the clubs that are most likely to sign him, given the financial might required to secure the services of such a global superstar.

Chelsea
The Blues are the likeliest to sign Cristiano right now according to the latest reliable reports, with Todd Boehly said to be in constant contact with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes.

With the departure of Lukaku this summer, Ronaldo could play as a striker with Havertz playing off him as the second striker. A move that a lot of fans have believed Havertz would be best suited to.

PSG
The Parisians definitely have the ability to sign Ronaldo should they choose to flex their financial muscle. It would mean that Ronaldo and Messi would play on the same team for the first time in their careers.

Angel di Maria has left the club after the expiration of his contract this summer and the club could accommodate Cristiano in the striker role, shifting Mbappe onto the left with Messi playing off the right.

Real Madrid
The club where Ronaldo was propelled into the echelons of footballing greatness could be a very real possibility for CR7 to return to. He is obviously adored by the fans and the players and his incredible chemistry with Karim Benzema has been well proven over the years.

With the Mbappe deal falling through this summer, Los Blancos will have to wait a while to sign a mega star and who better to keep a hold of than the biggest name in football.

Bayern Munich
The German giants will be losing Robert Lewandowski this summer after his publicly stated intent to leave. Ronaldo would slide in perfectly into the Lewandowski shaped hole in the Bayern striker force.

With the club always competing (and winning, really) for league titles and doing well in Champions League, it would be an ideal destination for Ronaldo.

Roma
Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho have always had a good relationship and being reunited with each other would be desirable prospect for both parties.

Roma struggled last season, finishing 6th in the Serie A but it is a league where Ronaldo has considerable experience. The only barrier would be their lack of UCL football and relatively lesser funds but the relationship between Ronaldo and Mourinho could be the driving force should this transfer happen.
