Zidane 'Turns Down' PSG Managerial Offer - Willing To Wait For France Manager Role

Zinedine Zidane has turned down the prospect of becoming the next PSG manager in the summer, claims RMC Sport.

The ex-Real Madrid manager does not want to replace Mauricio Pochettino and keep things open on his future.

The French gaffer did reportedly hold negotiations with PSG over a deal, but ultimately decided he doesn’t want to manage them.

Zidane’s main goal for the future still remains to manage the France national team.

However, he does not want to pressurize the situation of Didier Deschamps in any way with the Qatar World Cup quickly approaching.

The Frenchman is willing to wait for the job to become vacant after realizing he’ll be a major contender for the job if Deschamps is sacked.

Zidane is not even against the prospect of managing PSG one day in his career, but just doesn’t want to do it right now.

The Ligue 1 giants are now likely to appoint Nice manager Christophe Galtier to replace Pochettino.
