Yves Bissouma cleared of sexual assault charges ahead of Tottenham move
As reported by multiple outlets like the Evening Standard, Daily Mail and more, Yves Bissouma has been cleared of sexual assault allegations levelled against him last October.
The midfielder, who played for Brighton at the time, was arrested along with another man in his 40s following an incident at a Brighton night club.
A press release from Sussex Police read: "A man in his 40s from Brighton who was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault has had his conditional bail extended until July 4, 2022.
"A man in his 20s, also from Brighton, who was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault has been released with no further action to be taken.
"The investigation is ongoing and no additional information is available at this time."
Despite the ongoing investigation, Bissouma has completed his move to Tottenham this summer.
He's expected to be a key part of Antonio Conte's new revolution as Spurs compete to win their first major title.
