Salah played in Champions League final with injury, refusing to rest for Egypt
As per Egyptian journalist Ismaeel Mahmoudd, Mohamed Salah played in Egypt's game against Guinea with an injury that he had picked up in the FA Cup final.
The forward was reportedly injured for the Champions League final too and Liverpool asked to him rest for a couple of international games.
However, Salah refused to do so as he 'insisted on playing'. He ended up playing the full 90 minutes as Egypt won 1-0.
Ehab Galal, Egypt's manager, said after the game: "Mohamed Salah played the game while being injured. He is undertaking a radiological procedure at the moment."
