Real Sociedad in talks with Madrid over Kubo signing
Real Sociedad have opened talks with Real Madrid over the signing of Take Kubo, the highly-credible Mario Cortegana reports.
The Basque club want to sign him on a permanent deal and have offered the Japanese a contract until 2027.
Madrid rejected the opening bid but seem to be open to the transfer. The Merengues want a small fee but with a cheap buy-back clause included.
Real Madrid bought Kubo in 2019, but he never got the chance to make his debut for us, spending all his time out on loan. In the 2021/22 season, the 21-year-old recorded two goals and three assists in 30 matches for Mallorca.
