PSG 'must sell Neymar by Friday' or hand him contract extension until 2027

Paris Saint-Germain are facing a near-impossible deadline to get rid of Neymar, according to Sky Sports.

The Ligue 1 giants must sell the 30-year-old by Friday, July 1 or see his contract automatically extend until 2027.

A clause says that Brazilian's £600,000-a-week deal, which runs until 2026, will be extended for a further year on Friday.

This would mean that should they fail to offload the player, PSG would have to pay Neymar another year of his £31.2 million salary.
