OFFICIAL: Paul Pogba leaves Man United after 6 years

Manchester United have officially announced that Paul Pogba will be leaving the club at the end of this month.

The Frenchman will be departing on a free transfer after turning down several contract renewal offers at Old Trafford.

The official statement reads: "Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Paul on his successful career, and thank him for his contributions. We wish him all the best for the next steps on a remarkable journey."

Pogba rejoined Man United from Juventus in the summer of 2016 for a fee of £89.3 million, making his the most expensive player at the time.

The 29-year-old midfielder leaves Old Trafford after making 233 appearances for the Red Devils across all competitions and recording 90 goal contributions.

Pogba is likely to join Juventus on a free transfer later this summer after entertaining offers from the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
