Man United 'raise offer' for Frenkie de Jong

Man United have raised their offer for Frenkie de Jong up to €70m plus bonuses, Catalan reporter Gerard Romero reports.

The Red Devils are convinced Barcelona will be eventually forced to lower their demands for the Dutchman and sell him on more acceptable terms.

The player himself has reportedly understood that his future may lie away from Camp Nou despite his initial desire to stay.

De Jong remains a priority transfer target for Man United, with Erik ten Hag especially keen on the reunion with his former player.
