Man United Make Opening Offer For De Jong, Barcelona's Stance Revealed
Manchester United have submitted their first bid for Frenkie de Jong, according to Marca reporter Luis F. Rojo.
The offer is understood to be €60million plus €20million in add-ons.
This amount is close to what Barcelona are asking for. The club is seriously studying the offer.
It has been reported that Erik ten Hag is pushing hard for the move to happen. The coach believes that De Jong will be a key player at United.
The player himself has been public about his desire to stay at Barcelona. However, if the Catalans are prepared to sell him he will have to consider rejoining his former Ajax coach at Old Trafford.
