Liverpool 'waiting' for third Bayern bid for Mane before moving for Nunez

Liverpool are expecting a third bid from Bayern Munich for Sadio Mane, according to The Telegraph.

The Reds expect a £40m bid from the Bavarians for Mane. If it happens, it will set off a transfer merry go round, with Liverpool tabling a £60m offer for Benfica's Darwin Nunez.

For now, all parties are playing a waiting game.

Liverpool may try to sign a midfielder after concluding the transaction for Nunez.

The Reds missed out on Tchouameni, but there are numerous other options they could explore.
