The Times' Paul Joyce reports that Liverpool 'expect' Bayern Munich to send a third bid for Sadio Mane next week.
They believe the third offer will be closer to their £40m asking price. This is slightly lower than the previously reported £42.5m price tag.
The Reds rejected Bayern's £25m and £30m bids for the Senegalese earlier this week.
Liverpool expect to sell Mane soon to supply cash for the Darwin Nunez transfer. The Reds will pay £68m up front and around £20m in add-ons for the Benfica striker.
