Kounde 'no longer Chelsea's top target', new priority centre-back named

The Telegraph's Matt Law reports that Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde is 'no longer Chelsea's top target' in defence.

The Blues are already in talks with Juventus over signing Matthijs de Ligt instead.

In the early days of the transfer market, it felt as if the deal for Kounde was almost imminent. However, the departures of Marina Granovskaia and Petr Cech might have affected Chelsea's plans.
