'Klopp called him. PSG offered higher salary. He only wanted Madrid': Details of Tchouameni's move to Real Madrid revealed

Fabrizio Romano has revealed more details about Aurelien Tchouameni's impending move to Real Madrid.

Apparently, Jurgen Klopp personally called the midfielder to convince him to join Liverpool. Another contender in the race, PSG, were offering more money and made the best proposal out of the three.

However, Tchouameni only wanted to join Real Madrid. The parties agreed personal terms in Paris before the Champions League final.

There has been a breakthrough in the negotiations with Monaco, the deal is considered to be done.

As per previous reports, Thouameni will sign a contract with Madrid until 2027. The Merengues will pay €80m fixed plus €20m in possible add-ons.
