Forbes' most valuable football clubs Ranking for 2022: Chelsea fall behind PSG
Forbes has released their annual list of most valuable football clubs in the world for 2022, following the end of the season.
Chelsea are the only team in the top 10 who have a negative one-year change, which is an indication of the team's fall in value over the last year.
Of course, heavy sanctions were placed on the Blues as Roman Abramovich was forced to sell the club and that is the reason for the decrease in value.
Chelsea finished eighth in this year's ranking, falling from their seventh position as Paris Saint-Germain overtook them. Manchester City are also above the Blues, ranking sixth in the list.
Their valuation is set at £2.54bn. Here are the top five most valuable football teams in 2022:

2) Barcelona – $5.1 billion
3) Manchester United – $4.6 billion
4) Liverpool – $4.45 billion
5) Bayern Munich – $4.275 billion
6) Manchester City – $4.25 billion
7) Paris Saint-Germain – $3.2 billion
8) Chelsea – $3.1 billion
9) Juventus – $2.45 billion
10) Tottenham – $2.35 billion
11) Arsenal – $2.05 billion
